CONTRADICTIONS OF PRO-ABORTION/PRO-CHOICE

There are so many contradictions in the debate around the 8th amendment. Here are a few I have been studying...
1. It's not a baby, it's a clump of cells BUT abortion is a traumatic experience for a woman and not entered into lightly...Why?
2. It's not a baby, it's a clump of cells BUT abortion should only be legal up to 12 weeks...Why?
3. Abortion on demand should be legal only up to 12 weeks BUT it should be legal to abort a baby with an alleged "fatal foetal abnormality" at any time...Why?
4. There is agreement with abortion for fatal foetal abnormalities or in cases of rape or incest BUT not for other reasons...Why?
5. "I couldn't have an abortion BUT I believe women should have the choice"...Why?
6. Pro-life supporters are accused of resorting to emotional language by calling the unborn a 'baby' BUT abortion supporters talk about rape, incest, sexual abuse and fatal foetal abnormalities as justification for abortion...Why?
7. Men cannot have an opinion because they have no uterus and cannot get pregnant BUT women who have had a hysterectomy, have gone through menopause or are unable to conceive can have a opinion...Why?
8. The pro-abortion argument is that we shouldn't force women to become mothers by giving birth BUT the constitutional article 40.3.3 labels a pregnant woman as already a mother by virtue of the pregnancy itself...why? What is she a mother of?? Cells?
9. The death penalty was made illegal in Ireland in 1990 for all crimes (including rape and incest) BUT pro-abortion campaigners want to make it legal to kill the innocent product of rape and incest...why?
10. The Oireachtas Committee want abortion available at any time if there is a diagnosis of foetal "abnormalities" that might cause the death of the baby before or "shortly" after birth BUT the same TDs and Senators voted to ratify the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, under which abortion for reasons of disability is a violation...Why?
11. Abortion campaigners frame abortion as a women's rights issue BUT in all countries where abortion is legal, it is acknowledged (even if not promoted) that sex selection forms part of the abortion business and females are aborted purely for being female...Why?
12. Abortion campaigners frame abortion as a women's health issue BUT disregard the studies which show a much higher rate of depression and anxiety among women who have had an abortion when compared to women who have continued the pregnancy to birth...Why?
13. Abortion campaigners frame abortion as a human rights issue BUT the Universal Declaration of Human Rights does not list abortion as a human right...Why??
14. Abortion campaigners frame abortion as a human rights issue BUT the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child states that "the child...needs special safeguards and care, including appropriate legal protection, before as well as after birth"... Why?
15. Abortion campaigners frame abortion as a human rights issue BUT disregard scientific studies which prove that even a fertilised egg is an autonomous, living being...Why?
