TRUTH, FORGIVENESS AND LOVE

Today as I read all the anti-abortion articles on my news feed and look at what I, myself, have posted, there is no doubt that I emphatically stand on the side of not wanting abortion to become available in Ireland. I vehemently oppose those who have reduced childbirth to a problem that is akin to having a 'parasite' feeding on a pregnant woman's body.
That school of thought is despicable!!
However, I would also like to add that in no way am I forgetting that behind the 'debate' are real women who have already made the journey to England to have an abortion, knowing that it would end the life of a baby.
To those women, who made that decision in the midst of fear, vulnerability, loneliness, massive doubt and a hundred other emotions that have no words, I want to say that, as a Christian, I know that there is forgiveness and restoration for you in Jesus.
I truly believe that if you struggle with guilt, regret, despair or depression because of an abortion, Jesus will forgive you if you sincerely ask for it. 
Don't resist His love and forgiveness because you feel unworthy, unforgivable or that you went too far...Jesus has made a way for you to be made whole again by His death on the Cross. He already took any punishment for your sin and promises that if you believe in Him and ask for forgiveness, He will forgive and make you whole!


If you want to be free of that guilt and regret, reach out to Jesus. He will not cast you aside.
